 Worked around the world in multiple cultures. natural leadership skills and a love to teach and educate. A
 good sense of humor and a passion for world cuisine. Also trained and qualified in bakery, desserts and high quality celebration cakes. Can work with all dietary requests and has an extended repertoire of healthy, vegetarian and vegan menus. HACCP trained and qualified in food safety and operates to the highest health and safety standards.

We loved Chef John and his staff (Chef James & Chef Mary)! They catered our rehearsal dinner at a private Airbnb and everything went beyond expectation! This was our first time using Take a Chef, but it absolutely won't be the last and we hope to book again with Chef John soon. The food was exceptional and the chefs were so engaging and personable. Everything about our experience was great!

Okay, where do I start... We hired Chef John for our small wedding in Lake Arrowhead and it was the best decision we could have made. The team was punctual, professional, and personable. They did an amazing job catering to our guests and presenting each dish. Special shout out to Mary who was absolutely wonderful. The food was out of this world. Our guests (and us!) couldn't stop raving about it, from appetizers to dessert, every dish was carefully thought about and sooooo flavorful. They were very catering to dietary restrictions, including a couple vegetarians and my father in law who has Celiacs. It will definitely be a dinner no one will forget and we would 100% hire chef John and his crew again (Mary, Caleb, and Noah). Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

Chef John and his assistant Caleb and Mary were engaging, fun and most of all, excellent chefs! They were very accommodating to our needs and timeframe. We had a dinner for 10 and everyone is still talking about what a wonderful experience it was!!! We will not hesitate to use this service again!!
