food explorer, incorporating new world ingredients with old school techniques

Growing up with food as the core of every family function. I've developed the love of cooking early on. I have a passion for my ethnic southeast asian cuisine, particularly Laotian, Thai & Vietnamese.

Beginning in 2006 I fell in love with the art of sushi . I continued on developing my skills through various professional kitchens. 2017 was when I cofounded Sushimotos Catering which allowed me to share my love of cooking with the general public, through catering and cooking classes.I have worked in restaurants like Oshima Sushi and Fugu Lounge,Shiso Modern Asian Kitchen, also an instructor at Breakthrough Sushi San Francisco ( instagram @keo_asian_kitchen )

As an avid gardener, sustainability and locally sourced products is what makes up much of my cuisine.
