Chef Renee Tomato

Wow is all I can say!!!! Chef Renee and her sous chef Austin were wonderful. Chef Renee thought of all of the little details to make our whole evening very special, from fancy infused waters, and a delicious mocktail, to a smoker so we could smoke different drinks and cheeses. The table decor was beautiful too. We loved all of the food, and had a ton to enjoy the next day too. We were celebrating all of our birthdays, and she made the dessert course extra special, and we all felt very celebrated!! I highly recommend Renee, and I’m hoping we are in the area so we can have a repeat of our dinner soon. Thanks Renee and Austin for a very memorable evening!

Chef Renee + assistant created a great experience for our 'Dinner for 5' group! Chef Renee's suggested menu had us hooked from the jump and included dishes that sounded exactly what we'd hoped for, local fare and a fine dining experience. She delivered! Chef Renee explained the menu and why she chose the dishes she prepared. The smells that filled the room while she prepared the dishes were amazing. Our group of 5 was blown away by the attention to detail and care taken with each dish as it came out. The food was excellent and she and her assistant provided a wonderful atmosphere with the perfect level of engagement with our group. Everything was left spotless so we didn't have to do any cleanup. 10/10 we would recommend Chef Renee for any private dinner you've got in mind. If you want your friends and family thinking you're a rock-star for hiring a private chef for a customized out of this world dining experience, Chef Renee will have them all asking singing your praises. Chef Renee was amazing in all respects. Food was wonderful, plentiful and exceptionally well presented. She prepared 13 meals over 5 days for my multi-generational family during our vacation to Lake Keowee. She was critical to our great vacation and allowed us to focus on fun family activities. Chef Renee was with our family 13 hours per day and fit right in. She was very engaging when appropriate and did her thing in the kitchen while we were out playing on the water. I highly recommend Renee and look forward to working with her again!

Chef Renee was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our trip to Tennessee. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, accommodating, and incredibly attentive to our family's needs. Traveling with two young children can be challenging, but Chef Renee made everything effortless. She went above and beyond by allowing our oldest daughter to "help" in the kitchen, which became one of her favorite memories from the trip. Chef Renee was patient, kind, and made our daughter feel included in the cooking experience. Every meal was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and always ready right on time. The food was consistently served hot and exceeded our expectations. Her professionalism, talent, and genuine hospitality made us feel completely cared for throughout our stay. We cannot recommend Chef Renee highly enough. If you have the opportunity to have her cook for you, don't hesitate—you'll be treated to incredible food and an unforgettable experience.

Chef Renee is beyond this world! She is absolutely incredible. Her consideration and attention to detail is unmatched. She was able to create an elegant dinner with everyday household items around our AirBnb. She even went as far to pick rocks from the garden and ferns from the flowers to elevate the scene. Chef Renee is also so understanding and kind-hearted. My family was very late to the initial start of the dinner (appetizers portion) and she quickly detoured from the original plan to accommodate the unexpected change. She created dishes especially for our family members from Indian as a special treat and frequently checked in with me (the bride at the time) to ensure I was content with all the was happening at the dinner. Now her food…beautiful. Breathtaking. Delicious. Unlike anything we have ever had. Each of her dishes told a story. Each of her dishes had so much character. Chef Renee truly poured herself into every item she served to us. The charcuterie board left my family and I speechless, she had such a wide selection of cheeses, meats, veggies, dips, sauces, etc. Her entree of shrimp, salmon and steak also delicious. Then her plater of desserts, mouthwatering! She went as far to include a wedding cake for my husband and I. Somehow she was able to host, serve, cook, photographer, DJ, and celebrate all at once. Chef Renee’s hospitality and energy left everyone at the dinner in awe. We cannot wait to have her with us again in the future. We recommend Chef Renee to anyone looking for not only a delicious dinner, but an evening of entertainment and happiness.

Chef Renee understood exactly what we wanted & needed for a milestone birthday dinner. From the moment she arrived her experience & expertise was evident. She arranged our dinner table on the deck in a position that allowed for the ideal picture perfect moments. The table setting & decor were the perfect compliment for our celebration. Renee was incredible as we hosted a small Super Bowl gathering for my parters birthday. Renee was as good as they come, food was excellent and she was a fun addition to the gathering. I will without a doubt work with Renee again and highly recommend her for any meal or party.

Our experience with Chef Renee was one to remember. She was so warm and engaging. She made all of us feel comfortable and taken cared of. Her stories behind the dishes were very interesting. Renee Tomato is an absolute Pro - meticulously detail-oriented and driven by passion and experience. She is deeply intentional and cares immensely about the overall experience. We were absolutely blown away by not only her food (which spoke for itself) but also her energy. She kept the meal flowing and exciting - knew when to leave us be and knew when to interrupt with a story. She toed the line of treating us like uber VIPs and like we were family eating in her home - Professional, but familiar. We will book her again - no doubt about that!
