Chef Carmelo Bascetta

Chef Carmelo Bascetta was born in Sicily, Italy in 1995.

He grew up surrounded by food and ingredients, and his grandmother instilled in him a love and passion for cooking. At the age of 13, he joined a cooking school to pursue his passion. After completing his education, he worked in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Italy, including Massimiliano Poggi in Bologna and Alessandro Borghese in Milan. Later, Chef Carmelo moved to the United States and established "Ingredients" to showcase traditional Italian cuisine with a contemporary twist. His culinary creations reflect his deep respect and love for the raw ingredients he uses and his unwavering commitment to quality. He is dedicated to bringing out the best in every dish he prepares, and his menus provide a unique experience featuring classic Italian dishes that follow the culinary traditions of the country, as well as modern dishes that reflect his innovative vision of cuisine. Chef Carmelo experiments with hundreds of textures and flavors, elevating traditional Italian cuisine to new heights. His cooking has become a trusted point of reference for many luxurious Italian design brands in California, starting with the MV Agusta Art, an iconic Italian motorcycle design, and high-end Made in Italy design companies in America. The symbol he uses represents the authenticity of Italian craftsmanship.
