Chef Greg Ladd is a Northern California–raised chef with over 25 years of experience, having worked his way from dishwasher to Executive Chef across Marin and Sonoma Counties. Growing up in the North Bay, he was influenced by time spent in San Francisco with his “Grammy” and by his mother, who taught him the fundamentals in their home kitchen, sparking a passion for cooking at just two years old.
Working alongside many different styles of chefs throughout his career, Greg developed a deep appreciation for bold flavors and culture. His style is rooted in sourcing local & seasonal California ingredients using versatile approach tailored to each client.
Now based in Santa Barbara, Greg is the founder of “Sea+Flame”, offering private dining and catering experiences. Known for live-fire cooking - but never limited to it, each menu is thoughtfully crafted to create a memorable, personalized experience.
