Growing up, my parents were super strict about TV—they only let me watch cooking shows on the Food Network and Cooking Channel. I remember being glued to the screen, soaking up all those cooking techniques, learning about all kinds of foods, and getting so excited about the recipes. It totally inspired me to sneak into the kitchen way earlier than most kids, messing around with ingredients and experimenting on my own, which is how my love for cooking really took off.
