I’m a private chef and food consultant with over 20 years of experience, a Doctorate in Public Health, and graduate training in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences with a focus on toxicology. My work sits at the intersection of bold flavour, culture, and food safety.
My cooking draws from Pan-Caribbean traditions and the culinary heritage of New Orleans. Caribbean cuisine is inherently global ~ shaped by African, Indigenous, South Asian, European, and Chinese influences ~ and I bring that layered history into vibrant, modern, delicious menus informed by travel and lived experience.
I have also worked alongside nutrition professionals to create meals that support athletic performance, recovery, and overall well-being.
This informs how I approach ingredients, preparation, and balance on the plate.
I specialize in gluten-free, allergy-aware, and special-diet cooking, creating meals that are deeply flavourful while accommodating individual needs.
Whether preparing a relaxed brunch, an intimate dinner, or a customized dining experience, my goal is simple: food that is memorable, satisfying, and full of character.

a very young age ~ in many kitchens: food savvy elders, foster care, family homes, formal training, world travel, and a lifelong curiosity about food.

I never cook in a bad mood ~ energy carries. I cook with intention, attention, and usually a good playlist. :)
