I am a life long Artist and self-taught Wholistic Chef. I have been working professionally as a caterer, planning and executing my own menus for 13 years. I put my artistry into my cooking imbuing it with a beauty inspired by the seasonal bounty of the Big Island. As a native to this island I have a deep connection to Her seasons, however subtle. Using locally sourced, organic ingredients I create inspired meals that are as delicious as they are heart, soul and body nourishing.

Anon Shine is an outstanding and creative chef! She serves the best local fresh foods, and modified the menu slightly to account for the freshest ingredients at the market. She also accommodates dietary preferences carefully, as a family member is vegan. The appetizers were incredible, mahi mahi on crunchy crackers, an incredible artichoke hummus, followed by a beautiful colorful crispy salad, and an amazing macadamia crusted fish, in a coconut cream sauce with mixed vegetables and rice . It was truly a fine dining experience, perfectly professionally prepared and served. The fresh cocktails with mango and basil were also celebratory and unique, with local vodka. Desert was a creative mix of coconut delicacies. We were so lucky to find Anon!

Everything was amazing!

Chef Anon Shine is a gem of the island. Darling attitude and she crafted a menu that fit a diverse family of 10 very well (aged 10 to 78). The first course came straight from the islands. The riff on the Caesar salad to include roasted macadamia nuts was inspired. Our main course included perfectly grilled beef tenderloin and the silkiest mashed potatoes you’ve ever tasted. The flambé citrus and homemade whipped cream dessert was truly a “tropical delight”. I highly recommend Chef Anon. 10 stars! Amazing! The entire group was sincerely impressed.

Chef Anon was amazing! She was super communicative. The food and service was top notch. Such a special experience we shared for our parents 54th anniversary - we’re lucky Chef Anon and her assistant were a part of it!

Chef Anon put together a fabulous dinner and brunch! The house we rented had issues with the grill and the oven, but Chef Anon handled it with grace and efficiency. What a wonderful experience we had and I would highly recommend Chef Anon!

Had a fantastic experience with chef Anon. She arrived Parcher arrival and begin preparing our delicious meal, which was filled with vibrant colors, full flavors, and thoughtful anecdotes to accompany each dish. Everything was tailored to local Hawaiian ingredients with my family. Greatly appreciated. She also added a special spend each dish to combine fusion an Asian flavors. Afterwords her and her assistant clean up the kitchen diligently and left no work for us afterwards. We’re definitely you take a chef and because of Anon again!

Chef Anon was amazing! She cooked us a beautiful private dinner to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. She was friendly and professional and we all agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve ever eaten. We loved her passion for cooking with local ingredients and have been talking about her food every day since we ate it. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be reaching out to her if we’re lucky enough to visit the Big Island again.

Chef Anon was absolutely amazing! She listened to what our favorite dishes were and then added a local Hawaii flavor to all of it! She was very responsive to every question I had before arriving to our destination and she was so sweet when we met in person. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to hire a personal chef or for catering!
