Chef Christian Wheeler

I am an experienced Personal & Private Chef that has been in the industry for over 12 years. I have worked in many establishments that has fueled me and given me the tools I need to excel in my career. I first received an Associates degree in Culinary Arts from Louisiana Culinary Institute in May of 2011. While in school, I started my culinary venture working for Sammy's Grill for two years as one of there lead cooks. From there I yearned for more as a young Chef, so I moved to Georgia. I started working for a Retreat in Rome Ga called Winshape Retreat as a cook, this retreat is owned and operated by the Chick-Fila family. I worked there 3 years as a Sous Chef and 4 years as the Executive Chef. I also worked for a restaurant in Georgia called Gabes Louisiana Bistro, working there gave me the experience of fine dining and deeper knowledge of Cajun-Creole Cuisine. I moved back to my home in Louisiana in 2018 with my lovely wife and daughter, and I work now as the Executive Chef for The Claiborne at Shoecreek Senior Living. I have a huge passion as a Chef and that passion is to serve. I want to give every client the divine experience that they are seeking no matter what the occasion may be.
