Chef Jo Jo

My culinary career has been shaped by private work, from being the chef of multiple households, to baking commissioned cakes for events, to curating and executing private dinners and a monthly supper club. My private home experience includes weekly menu planning and executing across multiple properties for multiple long-term clients. I honed my leadership and hospitality skills managing the coffee program at multiple cafes, and most recently as the manager at Stumptown Coffee Roasters' Brooklyn café. There, I lead teams, design menus, and maintain the rhythm of managing a bustling culinary space. While I gained valuable experience in leadership there, my true calling remains where I started: in the kitchen, creating food that connects people.

Raised in a family of cooks who worked in professional kitchens, I understood early on that food is more than sustenance; it's a language of care and connection. Whether I'm hosting a private dinner or crafting inventive menus for loved ones at home, I bring the same level of intention, professionalism, and passion to every plate. I pride myself on my versatility across cuisines, my dedication to using the freshest seasonal ingredients, and my personable approach to each unique client and occasion.
