Lover of everything food, with a few exceptions!

I have been in food service for over 20 years. I began my career as cook onboard the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) in the United States Navy. After honorably being discharged from the Navy in September 2000, I began my career as a restaurant chef in Greensboro, N.C. I work as a line cook for a few years bouncing from restaurant to restaurant until I finally settled at Bonefish Grill in 2003. Within a year and a half I had worked my way from a $9 an hr line cook to head chef/kitchen manager and then transfer to Winston Salem N,C. to run my on restaurant. By 2006 I had become tired and frustrated with the restaurant and Winston Salem, it was time for a change. So, I packed up and moved to Plano, TX. Again after bouncing around to several restaurant, and learning many different cuisines, I finally settled at an insurance company (Globe Life Insurance) where I have been the Executive Personal Chef for the past 10 years, And in between all the madness, I managed to start a catering company call Culinary Affairs by Chef Kevin!!!!!
