I’m Chef Lashema Johnson, the founder of Shema’s Homestyle Cooking, a luxury homestyle catering and private dining brand based in Atlanta. I specialize in elevated comfort cuisine that blends soulful Southern roots with refined presentation, creating memorable and intimate dining experiences.
My culinary journey is inspired by family traditions, cultural heritage, and a deep love for serving others. I’ve had the honor of catering the AAMBC Awards Show, where my work was recognized for excellence in catering and high-level event service. I’ve also worked for the late celebrity Mickey Lee, an experience that strengthened my professionalism, discretion, and commitment to luxury service.
I focus on private chef services, in-home dining, and special events tailored to each client’s vision. Every menu is curated with intention, ensuring guests feel welcomed, celebrated, and well-fed. My goal is to deliver seamless experiences where homestyle comfort meets luxury dining.
