I have a passion for great food and the ability to produce such for small groups or grand galas with an incredible commitment to excellence. Private Chef positions have taken Chef Thompson to seasonal hotspots such as Tuckers Town, Bermuda, Harbor Springs Michigan, South Hampton & Bridge Hampton, New York, Casco Bay Maine and Telluride Colorado. His International assignments have taught him to understand and adapt to a variety of International cultures with exceptional interpersonal skills.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Chef Thompson graduated with High Honors from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York 1989. Since entering the industry he has held positions in Private Residences, Beach & Mountain Resorts, Restaurants, and Casinos around the World including the 5 Star & 5 Diamond Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Arizona, Lazurnaya Peaks Resort in the Caucasus Mountains near Sochi, Russia, site of the 2014 Winter Olympics the World Class Sanctuary Cap Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic, Restaurants include Emeril’s flagship restaurant in New Orleans during its opening year when it was selected as the “Best New Restaurant in the U. S.” by all major publications and associations, Casinos including Shangri La Casino the largest Casino in Russia located in Moscow and as Private Chef to many of Americas most prominent families.

His International and U.S. assignments include positions in 8 Caribbean and Western European countries as well as a dozen major American cities. He has presided over cuisines and themes including Cajun & Creole, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Georgian, Caribbean, Jamaican, Japanese, Mexican and Southwestern.
