As a recipient of several generations of cooking expertise, Celebrity Chef MiMi J now brings her own brand of culinary delight to the forefront. Having been featured on The Food Network, Spike TV, CBS, FOX, and ABC, she continues to create splendid, sophisticated cuisine that appeals to a variety of palates.

Deciding to leave the corporate world in 2015, Chef MiMi honed her skills through a myriad of culinary venues. Her experiences range from a consulting chef for a venture capitalist group to a instructor with Sur La Table. Her appetite for cooking excellence was further enhanced while working alongside some of the top chefs in the DFW.

Chef Mimi was a pleasure to work with! The food was outstanding, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and complex flavors. She was professional, personable, and really creative with her dishes. She also took care of all the cleanup and left the kitchen spotless after every dinner. I highly recommend Chef Mimi for a truly exceptional dining experience!

Chef Mimi did an incredible job from start to finish! She was very attentive and accommodating to our requests and tailored the menu to our liking. She made & served a delicious meal and let us enjoy ourselves while she took care of everything. 100% recommend her!

Chef Mimi was incredible. We had such a great experience. She was personable and seemed very comfortable in our kitchen. It never felt awkward having someone else in the apartment. The food was delicious! Would strongly recommend the creole style menu!

She was extremely polite and very professional. All in all I would definitely recommend her.

Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday and close attention is taken in every detail. Chef Meika exceeded my expectations in food quality, professional and vision that aligned with my menu expectations. I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Chef Meika exceeded my expectations. She was super nice, very thorough and was punctual. My baby's birthday surprise was beyond perfect as she was the one who suggested that I tell him to come over to so that he could be a part of the experience. Her explanation of the dishes were thorough and the presentation was amazing. She made great use of my space and was so so sweet and professional. I loved the fact that she was very clean and sanitary. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to get a personal chef in the Dallas area. Bravo! I'm so glad that I found Take a Chef.
