Chef Pino Bottiglieri

I am an Italian chef with more than 20 years of experience in the culinary world. I trained in Milan at the culinary school founded by Gualtiero Marchesi, where I developed a strong foundation in Italian fine dining and respect for high-quality ingredients.

In 2000 I opened my restaurant, Big Fish on the Miami River, which quickly became known for its seafood and Mediterranean cuisine and was part of the early growth of the Miami River dining scene.

For the past decade I have worked as a private chef on luxury yachts traveling through South Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean, cooking for private owners and charter guests. This experience has taught me how to create refined, personalized dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of organization, discretion, and service.

My cuisine is rooted in Mediterranean tradition, with a strong focus on seafood, but I also enjoy preparing sushi and Asian-inspired dishes. I love working closely with clients to design menus that reflect their tastes, dietary preferences, and special occasions.

For me, cooking is about creating memorable moments around the table and bringing people together through food.
