Hello! Im Mandie Barry, I am a full service Private Chef and Caterer and I have been cooking professionally for 10 years.

I am based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and currently expanding my horizons into the southern region. While I’m new to Take a Chef in this area, I’ve earned a consistent 4-star average rating on the west side and proudly serve clients throughout the surrounding communities.

I specialize in personalized menus, full-service dining experiences, and a detail-oriented approach that ensures each event runs smoothly and memorably. From intimate dinners to large-scale weddings, I’m committed to exceeding expectations and creating moments guests won’t forget.

Amanda's menus were perfectly appropriate for the event and season. More importantly, they were really high-quality ingredients with delicious results. Amanda was very communicative throughout the process and was a perfect professional through the end. Her presentations and clean-up we immaculate.
