I am a professional sushi chef with 25+ years of experience, focused on creating memorable, interactive Japanese dining experiences in private homes and special event settings.

My sushi journey began at Nami Sushi in Ferndale, and over the years I’ve worked in respected sushi bars across Detroit, San Diego, and Austin, refining both classic techniques and modern presentations. I have catered everything from intimate in‑home celebrations to large‑scale, high‑profile events, including service at venues such as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.

What sets my work apart is the experience itself. I don’t simply prepare sushi — I design an evening. Guests can expect beautifully crafted rolls, premium ingredients, thoughtful pacing, and a chef who engages comfortably with the room.
