Cooking with Greens was founded in 2017 by husband-and-wife team Derak and Anita Green as a heartfelt invitation into their family kitchen. What began as live cooking shows on Facebook—filled with laughter, real ingredients, and realer conversations—quickly grew into a beloved culinary brand with a national audience.

From daily videos to recipe-packed cookbooks, our mission has remained the same: to make healthy, flavorful home cooking simple, joyful, and accessible for everyone. Our community has expanded across YouTube, Instagram, and beyond, and in 2024, Derak proudly showcased his skills on FOX’s MasterChef, sharing our passion with viewers across the country.

That same year, we opened our first retail shop inside Selden Marketplace in Norfolk, Virginia—a hands-on space where customers can discover our exclusive line of handcrafted spice blends, try new tools, and take part in our signature spice blending and cooking experiences. Whether you’re creating your own custom blend or joining a workshop, we’re here to spark creativity in the kitchen.

Our products—including no-salt options, pink Himalayan sea salt blends, soup mixes, and high-quality cookware—are designed for home cooks who care about flavor and health. We believe natural ingredients shouldn’t mean sacrificing taste—and we’ve proven that, one dish at a time.
