Just my grandma's granddaughter who learned to cook to be close to the woman who meant everything to me and now I cook to stay close to her.
Born is raised in the Delta South, I am a product of my family, culture, and upbringing, an eclectic mix of Crrole and Southern cuisine. Learning flavors from living in a culture where food is the center of every life event, of every memory, of everything shaped my relationship with how I view food. It's always the most important question: what am I going to make?
