Born in Naples, Italy and raised in Southern California, Chef John Gabriel Palmer was always fascinated by the events involving in the kitchen. His interest in cooking started at the age of ten while observing his mother cook traditional Italian dishes.
Soon after his college education, he started his culinary ambitions while he apprenticed under leading chefs and learned the fundamental skills about cooking and baking. Over the years his skills have been proven by his invaluable techniques in Stocks, roasting, braising, smoking, grilling, sautéing and sauce making; the pillars and foundations of great cooking.
Chef John is an avid participant in charitable events that include: Bread of Life – Food Bank of Escondido – FBI, Homeless Outreach-San Diego, San Marcos Immigration-Education on Cooking and many others.
