His journey began at the age of 15 in Ecuador, where he first discovered his love for cooking under the guidance of his grandmother, who owned a bakery and restaurant. Those early days in her kitchen sparked a lifelong dedication to the craft of cooking.

He went on to refine his skills at a culinary school in Ecuador, laying a strong foundation in technique, flavor, and presentation. Driven by ambition and a desire to expand his horizons, Juan Carlos later moved to the United States to pursue his career as a chef.

Now based in Colorado—primarily in the Denver area—Juan Carlos has spent over 10 years working in professional kitchens and as a sought-after private chef. His diverse culinary repertoire includes a variety of world cuisines, all crafted with creativity and care.

What sets Juan Carlos apart is his philosophy of treating food as an art form. Each dish he creates is a multisensory experience—balancing flavor, texture, and visual presentation to delight both the palate and the eye.
