Chef Kassine Omar Cass Oc

I have been in the kitchen since the age of 16. My first job was at a pizza shop called Brother Brunos. I started out as a dish washer and was excited when I was asked to also make the pizza sauce and shred the cheese. One day I was asked if I knew how to cook. I nervously responded YES! The next thing I knew, I was on the line getting screamed at in Italian. I loved it! I don't know why but the rush of the kitchen had me hooked. My family is a big cooking family. My mom, dad and my sister all enjoy the art of cooking and we regularly share recipes and ideas. My grandma was a private chef in Brooklyn NY. She traveled with her food and brought the home cooking right to you door. I'm now 43 and have a much broader understanding of food and a more developed pallet. I’ve spent most of my adult career in fine dining. I have held two executive chef positions and have worked for the Buffalo Bills. I'm looking forward to my new adventure. I hope to see you soon!
