Chef Lala Lala

From an early age, LaLa Ziemski was told by her parents she was a picky eater. She didn’t understand because she LOVED food, maybe just not the peanut butter & jelly sandwiches the other 10 year olds were eating. She preferred mushroom risotto, naturally. 

Her love of food only grew as she got older. It was obvious she should be cooking as she gravitated toward the kitchen while working in several restaurants as a server/bartender. In 2008, she was on the opening team of the famed Los Angeles restaurant Gjelina & worked there for 4 years, absorbing as much food & wine knowledge as possible. Next, a private chef for many big names in Los Angeles including A list celebrities. In 2012, she opened her own restaurant & hotel on a Caribbean island in Panama, The Firefly Bocas Del Toro (check it out www.thefireflybocasdeltoro.com) Now living in NYC, she is excited to be executing her version of an east coast dinner party at her supper club PISCES. She also runs a catering/events kitchen in Chelsea. When not in NYC or Panama, You can also catch her as a chef/food judge on the tv show “Hot Mess Express” on DirecTv/Sling and hosting segments for Flavors Of New York!
