Chef Shakera Styles, affectionately known as Chef Kera, is the owner and creative force behind HeaVinly Divine Soul Food. With decades of cooking experience, she specializes in flavorful Southern soul food, elevated comfort cuisine, customized menus, and memorable private-dining experiences.

Chef Kera has experience preparing everything from intimate dinners to large-scale meals serving hundreds of guests. Her signature approach combines traditional recipes, bold flavors, beautiful presentation, and warm hospitality. Every menu is thoughtfully created around the client’s tastes, dietary needs, and special occasion.

Whether preparing a romantic dinner for two, a family celebration, or a private event, Chef Kera delivers more than a meal—she creates the full HDS Experience: food crafted with love and plated with purpose.

My professional experience includes large-volume camp food service in North Brunswick, New Jersey, where I helped prepare meals for more than 2,000 children, including separate kosher, gluten-free, and allergy-sensitive meals. This required dedicated ingredients, bread, knives, cutting boards, equipment, and preparation areas to prevent cross-contact.
