I’m a professional chef with over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and five-star hotels across Madrid, New York City, Lima, Caracas, and Houston. My passion for cooking began at a young age, inspired by the vibrant cultural diversity of my hometown and the joy of bringing people together through food.

Throughout my career, I’ve refined my skills in both traditional and contemporary cuisine, always striving for excellence in flavor, presentation, and technique. I believe that every dish should tell a story — one that reflects culture, creativity, and emotion. Whether I’m designing a tasting menu or cooking for an intimate private dinner, my goal is to create memorable experiences that celebrate the art of gastronomy.

Experience was amazing. Chef was super communicative and accommodating making for a memorable dinner event. Chef took care of everything and food was sensational. Would highly recommend Take a Chef and Chef Asfran!

Chef Asfren was absolutely amazing!! His timeliness and humble professional experience was very warm. The food was incredibly delicious and I highly recommend him for any occasion and upon my return to Houston I most certainly will use him again.
