Chef Emilio Pesce

My name is Emilio Pesce, and I am a professional chef born and raised in Italy. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for almost 20 years. I started my culinary journey in the south of Italy when I used to help my Grandmother Angela preparing the traditional dishes from Campania region. I was born not too far from the Amalfi Coast but then in 1990 my family moved to Piemonte, by the Italian Alps. First, Canavese then Torino became my homes, but I never forgot my southern origins. Every summer and sometimes Christmas I used to literally fling and spend great times with my Nonna and my family from the south, and there was never a moment we weren't eating or preparing great dishes. Napolitan meatballs, parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant parmigiana), peperoni arraganati (sweet and sour bell peppers), gateau di patate (potato gateau) and so many more. Then in 2014, I came to America and since then I am living my American dream. Still, each and every day I wake up thinking about my beautiful Italia that I celebrate every day through the dishes I prepare. My true passion is to share the great things Italy has to offer.
