Chef Ety made an amazing steak and lobster dinner for us at our vacation home. She really takes care in the food she prepares! The west african dip was so good and loved the spice of it too! Highly recommend Chef Ety!

Ety was an amazing addition to our bachelorette weekend! Everyone at the table was silent because we were trying to savor every flavor. 10/10 would recommend!

I am the vacation planner of my family so Trust me when I say Ety was AMAZING! We were in Costa Rica for my mom’s birthdays and I wanted to make sure she had a wonderful dinner to celebrate her special day and enjoy time with family. Ety went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time. First, she made a delicious pre-dinner, tequila cocktail, which was very refreshing, as we watched the sunset from our back balcony overlooking the ocean. Then, she made homemade dinner rolls and pesto sauce that were to die for, along with eggplant &bacon mini sandwiches and a ceviche. And that’s was just the starter! The menu that I selected , didn’t disappoint! During the meal, My family continually asked Ety how she made everything; and of course, Ety has a wonderful YouTube channel that shows how she makes everything. And then for dessert, Ety made my mother’s favorite dessert, bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Best part was all of the leftovers which tasted even better the next day! If you are in Costa Rica or any where, Please don’t hesitate and book Ety to make you a special meal!

We had an amazing experience using Take a Chef. The platform was easy to use and the agents were able to answer all our questions in a very timely and professional manner. However, the real credit goes to Chef Ety. Within moments of submitting details of our event, my wife's 40th birthday, Chef Ety proposed an amazing/flexible menu. She offered a wide variety of choices and communicated extremely effectively, it was very clear that she would be involved as little or as much as we wanted in the planning of the evening. The night of the event could not have gone any better. Chef Ety was a true pleasure to be around. She was extremely personable and professional. We settled on a four-course meal; every element from appetizer to main to wine pairing was perfect. It was truly a 10/10 experience.

There are so many words I could use to describe Ety and the meal she prepared for us for our Thanksgiving dinner, it will be hard to narrow it down to just a few. Ety and her assistant were engaging and were both so precious. We had a selection of French wine and Ety helped us select one for our pre-dinner drink and another to have with our meal. We thought the appetizers were out-of-this-world delicious, then came the entree. It was aesthetically pleasing (which is a big deal because I am definitely an aesthetic eater) and presented as if we were seated in a Michelin Five Star restaurant. Should we return to Costa Rica on the future, we will engage Ety for at least one, if not multiple, meals. I promise you won’t go wrong with Ety!!

Our chef was a highlight to our time in Tamarindo. Ety gave us the best evening and meal of our trip. Don’t miss out! Not only was the food great but her company was wonderful! Highly recommend.

Chef Ety's experience was nothing short of absolutely amazing. her food options and flavors are delicious. Her personality was so welcoming and fun. She made the night relaxing and joyful. Her hands are blessed. Did I mention the food was soo good? The churros for dessert is a must-have!

Chef Ety was so engaging and enjoyable. Best of all, the food was spectacular. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would love to use her services again!

Costa Rica is already pretty amazing, but just when you think it can't get even more so, you meet someone like Ety. Not only was the food she prepared excellent, but Ety, herself, was warm, engaging and interesting. And yet, at the same time, she could be very discreet. Making our first night of this trip truly magical. Net, net - I highly recommend Ety. She is highly credentialed, having worked at some of our favorite restaurants in New York, yet she is humble and a true pleasure to be around, making it almost feel more like a dinner party with a friend as opposed to a "chef for hire."

Ety's food was amazing! Especially the crispy avocados, and the Fried Chicken with some kind of honey truffle sauce. She showed up right on time, was very charming and when she left the place was spotless. It was very easy to communicate with her and she really helped us choose a menu special for us because I have a food allergy. BTW She also has a youTube cooking channel! It was a very special night and I'm planning to hire her again very soon. P.S. For dessert those were the best churros I've ever had.
