I am a professional chef with over a decade of experience. I began my career in some of Philadelphia's most acclaimed restaurants, including the James Beard Most Outstanding Restaurant in the Country, Zahav, before traveling to California to work at the 3-Michelin Star / World's 50 Best Restaurant, SingleThread. Most recently I have been the Chef de Cuisine of one of Pittsburgh's most notable and longest tenured restaurants, Morcilla.

My most passionate area of interest is in fine-dining, but I am just as comfortable preparing a chef-driven tasting menu as I am preparing healthy and delicious comfort food for a quiet family weeknight dinner, like I do for my own family.

I pride myself on being reliable and respectful to all of my clients, and I promise to provide solutions to any challenges with a smile on my face!

We hired Chef Ezra to do a private cooking lesson for our 15th anniversary, and it was such a fun experience. We love watching cooking shows, and it felt like we were on one as Chef Ezra taught us how to make a four-course meal using the freshest ingredients. The salad was the best salad I’ve ever had — and we’re talking about a SALAD! He made the experience so much fun and answered all of our crazy questions while teaching us how to make homemade pasta, all in our own tiny kitchen. Highly recommend!
