Get to know me better
I love showing hospitality by welcoming all people and providing meals packed with nutrition that nourish both body and soul.
I grew up in a military family, traveling around the world and developing a fascination for cultural cuisine. From a young age I have always loved food and trying unique flavors from various countries. At age thirteen, I began experimenting with and developing my own recipes, focusing on vegan and gluten free bakes as an effort to provide my mom with food she could eat, as she had recently learned of her many food intolerances. This stirred up a passion for the culinary arts, and I decided to attend culinary school, which I graduated from in May of 2020.
After graduating, I attended multiple culinary conferences and took upon various internships at different camps, learned barista work in a gluten free and health-based cafe, worked as an assistant Front-of-House Manager for a large resort in upstate New York, and returned to the Christian Culinary Academy to pursue their interim management program, where I developed the menus for and ran various catering events, oversaw student production in the kitchen, meal planned, did the ordering and grocery shopping, graded student physical exams, and tested/developed new recipes for the school curriculum. I spent the following two years as the Front of the House Manager at a senior living facility in Silverdale, where I managed a team of 30 servers and dietary aides, ran two dining halls, and assisted in overseeing catering events. I have since left the full-time culinary industry, and spend many of my hours continuing to test and develop recipes and provide services for friends and family (birthday parties, weddings, baby or wedding showers, etc).
My dream for many years has been to become a private chef specializing in health and nutrition. I love serving people through food and hospitality, and I thoroughly enjoy meal and event planning so that I can help your vision become a reality. I look forward to serving you!
