Chef Joseph Pirkola is awesome. My mother was celebrating her 80th birthday with her girlfriends in a vacation rental in Wells, Maine. We decided to try to provide them with something special for dinner. We live in California and my mother lives in Chicago so we had no idea what was possible or where to start. We were not real happy with the preset International style themes here and we were hoping for a unique 'Maine' experience with local foods. We decided to pick 'surprise me' and try to discuss that with the Chef. We then worked out exactly what we had hoped for with Chef Joe. Chef went out of his way to make sure they had fresh fish. The ladies said every single bite was amazing and would not even try to pick a favorite item. We could not have asked for a better experience.
