Not one to follow what everyone else is doing, take something and make it represent me.
I am a professionally trained chef with four years of industry experience, currently working as a Sous Chef while also serving as the Owner and Executive Chef of Yellow Rose Catering, based in Houston, Texas. My culinary journey represents a purposeful transition from a career in law enforcement, where I spent most of my adult life, into a field driven by creativity, craftsmanship, and hospitality.
While my path into the culinary world may be unconventional, it has shaped my work ethic, discipline, and commitment to excellence. I bring focus, precision, and strong leadership into every kitchen I step into, whether managing operations or executing a private event.
I have a deep appreciation for authentic barbecue and regularly participate in cookoffs whenever possible, continuously refining my technique and flavor profiles. Through Yellow Rose Catering, I aim to deliver bold, memorable experiences rooted in quality ingredients, strong technique, and genuine passion for great food.
