Pablo Francisco Giménez Born in the Southern Hemisphere's Santa Fe, Argentina riding horses and playing in fruit trees on his family's farm, Pablo's senses were immersed in an exotic blend of flavor and aromas. His father taught Pablo the art of roasting and grilling meat, and awakened a passion for the Asado style of the Rio de la Plata, while vacations spent in Mendoza and Salta further enhanced a palate of international wines. Pablo's deep connection to the natural world informs his flavor infusions that transform the California dining experience.

Pablo is fantastic! He prepared a customized surprise menu for my husband’s birthday dinner and the food was outstanding. He was very attentive and the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, with a personal twist and story to them. He even brought printed menus and candles for our table! Prior to the dinner itself, he was very accommodating to some menu changes I asked for and highly responsive via messages. We had an incredible evening enjoying Argentine food, wine, and delicious macaroons as a dessert. He left the kitchen in excellent shape and even packed up the leftovers for us to enjoy the following day. 100% recommend and we cannot wait for our next dinner with him!

Pablo was fantastic - very efficient and discrete in the kitchen, prepared some beautiful plates for us with delicious french cuisine. The salmon tostadas and macaroons were outstanding. He Provided two complimentary bottles of wine paired with the food which was a nice touch. Will definitely be requesting him again!

Was an amazing experience! He had my boyfriend’s birthday surprise completely covered. Was polite, quiet, efficient and super flexible with dietary requests and late guests. 100/100 recommend!

Chef Pablo was very attentive and kind. From the beginning of the process he was flexible and accommodating. The food was amazing and the plating was top quality. We really loved the quality of the dough on the empanadas and the peach tart's crust was superb!!
Chef also had my kitchen cleaner than how he got it.
We will definitely use Take a Chef again.
