My name is Alonzo Aristides, a chef with extensive experience in the culinary industry and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences. I’ve had the privilege of being featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins & Dives as well as in Savour magazine, milestones that reflect my dedication to quality and creativity in the kitchen.

You can currently find me at Canela Vegan Bakery in Bridgeland on weekends, where I’ve developed a vibrant and thoughtfully crafted vegan brunch menu. My approach focuses on elevating plant-based cuisine through bold flavors, refined techniques, and carefully selected ingredients.

I also collaborate with other talented chefs to create exclusive pop-up dining experiences across the city and in Mexico, offering unique, one-of-a-kind culinary events. My goal is always to push boundaries, elevate each dish, and leave a lasting impression, contributing to Calgary’s dynamic and evolving food scene.
