I am a professional chef with 30 years International's experience. I have worked in high end fine dining kitchen (3 stars Michelin) as well as helping in home catering and helping chef and owner to open restaurant.

I graduated cooking, pastry, sommelier in France (Dinard) and obtain this certification .

Since i am in Calgary be the Executive chef at : Priddis Greens golf course, Bow valley ranch, owner of la petite table in Okotoks.

Was an incredible experience. Got this as a gift for my grandfather and he was extremely pleased with the entire experience. Food was exceptional and presentation was amazing. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Chef Nicolas Desinai went above and beyond with his surprise muse bouche(s). The hors d'oeuvres kept coming and the menu hadn’t started yet. The attention to detail and thought that went into the menu and delivery was remarkable. The food was the perfect temperature and very delicious. He brought a server and a dishwasher with him so there was no waiting between courses or waiting for everyone to get their meals etc. we highly recommend chef Nicolas and will definitely have him back 10/10

Chef Nicolas went above and beyond in his service. He presented many extra bites that were unexpected and very creative. He and Jane were very professional and they left our kitchen spotless! They also packaged up our leftovers and we were very happy to enjoy them the next day. We would recommend Chef Nicolas to anyone wanting to try a personal chef experience.

Chef was courteous, efficient and cleaned up as he went, minimal chatter unless we engaged him in conversation. Chef's skills were exquisite and the dishes he prepared were delicious! Well worth the investment.

Chef Nicolas provided an incredible experience to our group. We all felt the quality of the meal and value of the experience was well above what we paid. We would absolutely do this again and would happily have Chef Nicolas provide the experience as well. The plating was exceptional and the taste was unbelievable. Portion sizes were perfect as well. Nicolas was punctual, arriving just before the designated time. He was well organized, and well prepared. He clearly loves what he does and his enthusiasm for his profession is infectious. He is meticulous and very invested in the experience for us being a good one. He provided menus for us, and offered clear instructions for what to do. He was neat, and did not leave anything for us to tidy up. The food was of excellent quality, and very flavourful. Overall, the evening was a great success and very enjoyable.

Nicolas was fabulous. The meal was for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary and Nicolas knocked it put of the park. He was professional, friendly and extremely well prepared. My parents were thrilled with the quality of the meal. As well, Nicolas was very concerned with COVID19 precautions. Overall a 5star experience we would definitely recommend.

We hired Take a Chef for a family celebration dinner and it was a fabulous experience. The food was terrific, Chef Nicolas made himself at home in our kitchen and went above the expected.
