I am a Kenyan who loves cooking living in Newfoundland and would love to share my culture/cuisine with you.
Hi, my name is Rose. I am a Kenyan now calling Newfoundland my home with my husband, a proud Newfoundlander. We returned here from BC 2 years ago.
When am not working, am usually in the kitchen with music playing creating dishes that remind me of home. Sharing Kenyan cuisine brings me joy, and every time I do it, people ask if I've thought about cooking professionally.
Chapati, beef stew and mung bean stew with steamed cabbage are always favorites. Below are some of the meals I love to make.
