I am a well-rounded chef who loves taking on new challenges and making clients happy. I was born and raised in Minnesota and developed my passion for cooking early on, which led me to pursue formal training in the culinary arts.

I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu with an A.A.S. degree in Culinary Arts and have worked in a wide variety of kitchens. My experience ranges from steakhouses to Turkish cuisine, as well as Latin American and Native American cooking, giving me a diverse and adaptable culinary background.

A big thing for me is being calm, relaxed, and focused during service. Also eating with your eyes first is key to a great dish.

Chef Ethan's meal was incredible- delicious, comforting, a visual delight! Portions were perfect. He worked with me to understand our gathering and guest of honor, and we fine-tuned the menu with only a few conversations. Highly recommended!

Ethan was amazing. He was on time, prepared, and the food was DELICIOUS. We scheduled him for a 50th birthday dinner, and he made it so special. The 5 courses (plus Caesar salad) were all amazing. We couldn’t have expected better in a 5 star restaurant. I’d recommend Ethan to anyone. And I will.

I found Chef Ethan through a website called Take a Chef. I entered a few comments about what we were looking for as a group of ten girls coming from out of town for a bachelorette party. Not only was he super quick to provide a proposal, but it was so easy to work with him in terms of menu changes, pricing, and other planning aspects. Fast forward to the actual dinner party & I was so impressed with his ability to adapt to preparing our food in a smaller kitchen and still put out AMAZING food. Our whole party was raving and there wasn’t a single thing which disappointed. Chef Ethan also spent a significant amount of time cleaning up and ensuring our Airbnb was left in better condition than he found it. If you’re wondering if you should book with Chef Ethan, the answer is, YES! You will NOT be disappointed!

We had a great experience with Chef Ethan. The menu was amazing, we appreciated the versatility and variety of options with detailed descriptions. He was engaging in conversation about the cuisine and life experiences. It was a very special birthday gift! We'd encourage people to use Chef Ethan for their special events, gatherings, weddings etc.
