I am a professional chef with 30 years of experience and have been running my own private chef business for the past 13 years. Throughout my career, I have worked in both fine dining and casual settings, gaining a broad and versatile culinary background.

Our evening was nothing short of extraordinary. From the first bite to the final spoonful, every course reflected true craftsmanship and care. We began with a vibrant salad of roasted beets and sweet peppers layered with peppery arugula, thinly sliced radish, and a delicate vinaigrette. The balance of earthiness and acidity set the tone for the meal: fresh, light, and beautifully plated. Next came warm, pillowy rolls, golden on top and soft inside, served with perfect timing between courses. Simple, comforting, and absolutely irresistible. The third course featured perfectly seared scallops, resting on a silky carrot purée with a hint of sweetness and depth from a light broth. The scallops were tender and caramelized, complemented by a touch of crunch from finely chopped garnish. Elegant and balanced. Our main course was a standout: braised short ribs served over creamy mashed potatoes, with bright orange carrots adding both color and sweetness. The meat was fork-tender, rich in flavor, and paired beautifully with the smooth, buttery potatoes. To finish, dessert was a decadent chocolate creation with a moist chocolate cake topped with caramelized nuts and crisp chocolate shards, served alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream that tied it all together. The combination of textures and flavors was both indulgent and refined. Throughout the evening, the service was flawless. The chef and his wife made us feel completely at ease, guiding us through each course with warmth and genuine pride in their work. Every dish was plated with precision and artistry, and my kitchen was left spotless, which was truly impressive. It was an exceptional dining experience filled with thoughtful details, professionalism, and heart. A perfect blend of fine dining and personal touch.

Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made it feel less like hiring a private chef and more like welcoming dear friends into our home. By the end of the night, they felt like part of our family — and even our pickiest eater (our 6-year-old!) was completely won over. Each course was a work of art — the kind of plate presentation you’d expect at a Michelin-star restaurant. Every dish was beautifully balanced, thoughtfully composed, and absolutely mouth-watering. The ingredients were fresh and vibrant, and the flavors… oh my goodness. Each bite told a story — familiar enough to be comforting, yet inventive and elevated in a way that made you stop and savor. What impressed us most was how seamlessly they accommodated our preferences and timing. The pacing was flawless, the portions perfect, and the food arrived at just the right temperature. The dessert? We hired a 4 course meal for my Wife, Mother in law, Sister and law, and Father in law for Mother's Day. It was pricey but so was the request on food items (lobster, kobe beef, scallops, shrimp, oysters). When he arrived he quickly set up and engaged with everyone. He brought everything with him (pots, pans, plates silverware....everything). He was extremely patient on start time (we have a 5 year old autistic daughter and planning around her sleep is a bit difficult). When the meal started all you heard was "oh my" and "yumm". Everyone was licking their plates after each course. Not one complaint. He explained each meal before hand as well. He quickly and quietly cleaned up. Kitchen was left in pristine condition. Would definitely hire again. A great experience.
