I'm a classically trained chef, educator, and food systems builder with experience across fine dining kitchens, farms, and food research.
I am a classically trained chef with over a decade of experience across diverse areas of the culinary world. My journey has taken me from fine dining kitchens to cooking at festivals in remote environments, as well as high-volume service at Walt Disney World. These varied experiences have shaped my technical skills, adaptability, and approach to hospitality.
While I value the intensity and structure of professional kitchens, my favorite way to cook is in more intimate settings. I enjoy preparing meals for small groups, where I can be present, share the story behind the ingredients, and create a dining experience that feels personal, engaging, and memorable.
Beyond the kitchen, I have spent several years working within agricultural food systems, including time on farms, involvement in food research, and completing a degree in sustainability. This background has deeply influenced my philosophy, giving me a strong awareness of where food comes from and how it should be treated.
My cooking is highly ingredient-driven. I focus on seasonal, high-quality products and build each dish around what makes them unique. Whether highlighting produce from a specific farm, exploring wild ingredients, or allowing a single element to guide an entire menu, my goal is to create thoughtful, expressive dishes that celebrate the essence of each ingredient.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is sharing that passion at the table, connecting guests to the food in a meaningful and memorable way.
