Passionate, well-travelled, red seal certified Chef with over 20 years of experience in various platforms of food service.
I began my culinary career back in 2002, where I gained valuable insight into the restaurant industry as a Grill Cook at Nando's Chicken in Vancouver, BC. I received my red seal certification as a chef in 2009 from S.A.I.T. in Calgary, Alberta and spent several years cooking in various areas of food service, from Bistros to large scale conference centers.
I'm now living in Halifax, Nova Scotia and have a beautiful spouse with two amazing girls and I dedicate all that I do to them.

Medicinal. Not only on a nutrient level but I find it can be therapeutic at times. Brings people together and curates a sense of love and compassion

An early age. Growing up watching Mom & Nan cook, I was often asked to peel vegetables or do other simple tasks to help feed the family.

Balance. It can be advantageous and tricky, but balancing flavor profiles and providing depth to your offerings can be surmised as a "secret".
