I have a passion for food. I thrive to make every dish/meal memorable.
My name is Christina Vaz. I was born and raised in New Jersey where my family owned and operated Italian restaurants. My kitchen experience starts as early as being able to see over the counters. I went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America when I obtained my bachelor's degree specializing in farm to table.
Currently I am a Category Development Specialist with Halpern's Steak & Seafood. My role specializes in specialty products such as truffles, caviar, and high-quality charcuterie items. My role allows me to connect with fellow chefs throughout South Florida to assist them in finding high quality chef driven items to enhance their menus.
Additionally, I private chef for events in the South Florida area.
