I am French-trained former Executive Chef with years of experience in different international cuisines. Well traveled during my time in the military, I love exploring new cultures and telling a story with my food. I take pride in creating new memories for my clients to enjoy with their loved ones and guests. I joyfully accommodate gluten-free guests and those with other dietary requirements.

Cooking with "Sazón" - a perfection of flavor and color - is what I do.

Also have knowledge in Gluten-free menus and AIP diets.

I created Sazón Chefs to better serve those with quest of enjoying delicious flavors.

Diego and Laura were extraordinary. From booking through the last bite of our wonderful meal, Diego was perfect. I couldn’t more highly recommend Diego!

Huge thank you to Chef Diego for making my husband’s birthday so special! We went with an Indo-Mex fusion theme, and it was the best decision ever. The food was outstanding (the spice levels were perfect!), and the presentation was stunning. Chef was incredibly professional and handled everything, allowing our family and guests to actually enjoy the part. ! Highly recommend!

Chef Barrios provided a great private dining experience for my wife's 40th birthday. His professionalism and friendly manner helped create a comfortable atmosphere for both adults and children. The meal was well-paced with delicious dishes, and his organization was excellent. We recommend Chef Barrios for anyone looking to make their special occasion memorable.

Diego made my moms 70th birthday dinner really special, the lamb chops were incredible and he was great to work with!

Incredible demeanor.

Chef Diego knocked it out of the park for our 40th anniversary dinner. He is clearly a professional and knows just how much to engage and how much privacy to provide and it felt very comfortable. The food was out of this world. We truly cannot name a favorite dish. My wife said this was the most memorable experience and we are very grateful. Worth every penny for a special event.

One of the best experiences we have ever had! Chef Barrios is a well seasoned chef and really makes an effort to learn you and the occasion to make an amazing spread and menu! He is truly a one of a kind chef! It was some of the most amazing food I have tasted in a while! I would recommend Chef Barrios 1000x over! Truly a chef deserving of 2 or 3 Michelin stars.

We had a wonderful experience with Chef Diego Barrios. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. He was very knowledgeable and attentive about cooking everything gluten free (one of us is celiac), We had a great time talking with him and learning several tips and tricks along the way. Chef Barrios was absolutely amazing! This was my first experience using a home chef and it was an extraordinary one. Chef Barrios was tremendous. His attention to detail and explanation of each course prepared was exceptional. The food was delicious and all of my guests thought the dinner was spectacular. Diego was very responsive and thoughtful in his communication prior to arriving. His energy is very professional but casual and personable. He read the room well, engaged appropriately and shared information of the food as he presented it. His timing was seamless between courses. The dishes, all of them, were amazing along with being proportioned well. 100000% recommend him for this service.
