Get to know me better

I am always having fun while cooking!

My culinary journey started at a very young age with my grandfather Joseph – a traditional baker in Old Antwerp, Belgium. It was in the kitchen together with him that i would spend most of my time.

When i was 12 years old i went to culinary boarding school and after completing internships in Michelin star restaurants in Belgium, The Netherlands and France I took my travelling bag around the world to have culinary experiences in Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore and South America.

Eight years ago i moved to New York to work as the Executive Chef to an European Ambassador to the United Nations and since then I am the Executive Chef for all formal in-house and external events on behalf of the Ambassador’s personal and business engagements. In 2015 I opened JH Catering hoping to bring my culinary passion to your next event.
