Chef Lenny was awesome! He was super responsive on the Take A Chef platform, once we booked him he scheduled a phone call to review the menu, allergies, plating, and any requests. He was very responsible in being prepped for the kitchen, he was communicative and flexible. And most importantly the food was AMAZING!!!!!

Chef Lenny is a Master! One taste sensation after another starting with an amazing Arugula salad; followed by a Shrimp and Grits appetizer that surprised at every bite; and then the main; Salmon glazed with a sweet Thai chili sauce, mashed potatoes and asparagus, all cooked to perfection and professionally served by his wonderful server. It was the rare plate that was left with any food on it, and then only because the diner was stuffed! Other diners, however, seamlessly came to the rescue to ‘taste’ the food they already ate on their own plate. Then, after all the diners were completely satisfied came the desert! Bananas Foster interpreted by Chef Lenny. OMG! He must have been possessed when he created his finale. With each spoonful the initial flavor extravaganza surprised, followed by the unexpected sweet, savory follow on taste that must have had a little magic infused with it, because two seconds after your brain enjoyed the dissipating taste of the previous spoonful, Chef Lenny’s creation compelled you to take another taste. Spoonful after spoonful. No one had any self-control remaining. As if guided by an invisible hand, Chef Lenny’s creation took control till your bowl was empty, subjecting each diner to a momentary feeling of sadness, followed by an instantaneous eruption of internalized cheers. Again. OMG! If you are looking for a dining experience beyond expectations, Chef Lenny will deliver it to you. All with an engaging personality, infectious smile, and casual conversation that made him feel like a member of the family. And don’t worry if you just moved in, completely remodeled, and had forgotten to stock the kitchen with many of the supplies need to support his tour-de-force performance - like we did - Chef Lenny is eminently adaptable. Bravo Chef! Bravo!

Chef Lenny was an amazing chef! Passionate about his cooking and creates wonderful dishes! Food was presented beautifully and had flavor combinations that made you want to lick the plate!! Lenny was attentive to all food allergies and made modifications perfectly! He created a unique experience in the comfort of your own home. Your kitchen was left as if nobody cooked, served and organized a 5 course meal. Totally recommend ❤️

Lenny was perfect, exceeded our expectations. He checked with me in advance of the event and agreed to a menu. The food was delicious and the kitchen clean when he left. I would easily recommend him to friends.

Chef Lenny was wonderful!!! We had a big party with kids, so it was chaotic as expected, but he worked with us the whole time. The food was delicious and he brought Tupperware so we could save the leftovers. This was our first experiences with hiring an in-home chef and it was exactly what I would have hoped for.

Chef Lenny was awesome and the food was incredible. He was easy to talk to and together we came up with a fantastic menu for a birthday dinner. He was great with my grandson who loves to cook. He took time to explain ingredients and let him “help out” with the prepping. He also explained each course as he served us. I would definitely recommend Take a Chef and especially Chef Lenny.
