I’m Chef Morgan, a culinary professional who grew up in a family-owned farm-to-table restaurant, where I learned that food is not only nourishment — it’s a way to bring people comfort, joy, and lasting memories. From an early age, I was surrounded by the warmth of the kitchen and the art of hospitality, shaping what would become a lifelong purpose: to nourish people’s souls through outstanding food, service, and atmosphere.

Over the years, I’ve dedicated my life to every aspect of food service and hospitality — from cooking, bartending, and wine curation to catering, event planning, and full-scale dining experiences. My philosophy is simple: “If you can dream it, we can create it.”

I’ve had the opportunity to refine my craft through diverse projects such as LA Peacock Events, Peacock Picnics, and Five Star Fifteen, each designed to offer distinctive culinary experiences — from intimate dinners and bespoke picnics to innovative pop-up dining events pairing five-star cuisine with sensory connection.

My approach to cooking blends the values I grew up with — fresh, locally sourced ingredients, heartfelt service, and attention to detail — with creativity and elegance. Every dish I prepare is meant to spark emotion, connection, and joy, turning a meal into an unforgettable experience.

Chef Morgan is the epitome of a professional chef. Complete with an absolutely amazing menu, great attention to detail, expertly prepared, and able to read the room, being either attentive and engaged, or allowing appropriate personal time. He left the kitchen cleaner than when he started, and expertly handled a nervous AirBB owner. Chef Morgan is truly exceptional, and he will go above and beyond. Highly rated, and I cannot wait to engage him again.

I hired Chef Morgan to create a special experience for my sister, who has a bucket-load of health issues. After her bilateral lung transplant, she can’t eat a lot of the foods she enjoys. As a foodie, this is tough. Chef Morgan curated a beautiful tasting menu of tastes and flavors that tantalized both the palate and the eyes. The faux Ahi Tuna dish (baked watermelon!) mesmerized my sister. She said that everything was incredibly delicious! It’s been ages since she was treated to a fine dining experience and I’m so glad Chef Morgan could provide it for her! Thank you!

Chef Morgan was INCREDIBLE. From start to finish he was engaging, charismatic, and very communicative. My husband and I found him on Take a Chef for our first Wedding Anniversary and it isn't one we will soon (or ever) forget. If you are on the fence about whether you want to book Morgan, listen to the random person on the internet when I tell you that he will blow your expectations out of the water! He can customize the menu to your preference and wants you to be happy with every part of your meal. I would recommend him to anymore who is looking for a chef, whether they are family, friends, or other random people. Do your self a favor and book him!

Chef Morgan was incredible! He tailored the menu to our family’s taste and even went beyond and made a traditional Indian dish (as we are Indian). He printed menus and had a theme and made celebrating my parents 40th anniversary a really sweet occasion. They have lovely memories of the night and we were all happily fed and satisfied :)

Chef Morgan was a delight. As a first-time user of Take a Chef and trying to plan a surprise, multi-course hallmark birthday dinner for my fiancée, I was concerned with how much menu flexibility and communication with the chef I might have prior to the meal. I received several proposals but Chef Morgan stood out as he was the only chef to respond personally to my submitted note on my dinner preferences, taking the time to suggest thoughtful course ideas around my fiancée's favorite foods. Chef Morgan was prompt with his communication whether via the Take a Chef website or by text and phone once I booked his services. He was willing to make food from his wide selection of menus and he was imaginative, weaving whimsical nods to the Taylor Swift Eras concert (for which we were in town for) throughout the menu. Chef Morgan arrived to cook on-time and crafted a tequila cocktail for us to enjoy over a small happy hour with small bites while he prepped our first course. He was courteous and engaging, not overbearing. He was very attentive - he recognized when we wanted some quiet time to ourselves over the cocktail hour and was more than willing to discuss his cooking and events and background when we peppered him with questions later during dinner. A small but I believe important quality to have for an intimate setting. Chef Morgan brought embroidered Taylor Swift pillows for my fiancée when he was unable to have a printed menu for us, a very kind gesture and testament to his terrific character and his thought and preparation that goes into client meals. The food was spectacular; a balance of bold and rich and savory and sweet. Chef Morgan brought nearly all the flatware and dishes and table settings with him limiting our clean-up burden on kitchen items in our rented condo. He talked through ingredients, preparation, and had accompanying wine pairings (champagne to complement the oysters!). He carefully plated leftovers for us to enjoy the following day. Fantastic experience with Chef Morgan. I highly recommend his services!

5th anniversary dinner was amazing. Exceeded my expectations

Morgan was great to work with from the outset. He called me while I was in the UK to sort out the menu and was very flexible about what food was served. There were more dishes than we expected and one was more delicious than the next. He arrived with charming menus for each guest and had a really personable style and approach. He was great with my 16-year-old son who loves cooking and wanted to get involved. Thank you Morgan. Your night cooking a family Asian dinner was one of the main highlights of my trip to LA. Just last night we were talking about the best food that we had eaten on the trip and your food was unanimously agreed as the best. High praise given we are foodies and went to some of the best restaurants in LA.

Chef Morgan was a great find! He is passionate about his food, engaging. He served us unusual takes on the standard French cousine and we enjoyed every course. Chef Morgan even made food for our 7 year old. We will definitely have him back.
