I'm Devansh Marwaha, a professional chef based in Barrie with 9+ years in professional kitchens — line cook, lead cook and sous chef at Chop Steakhouse (Vaughan), Montana's (Collingwood), State & Main (Etobicoke) and 3 Brewers (Oakville), plus three years managing a restaurant kitchen at Gladiator Burgers (Mississauga). I've also just been hired at Beertown in Newmarket.
For private dinners I cook the food I know best: proper steaks and BBQ, Italian comfort cooking, and Indian dishes from my own roots — plus the burgers I'm building my own pop-up, Burger Nation, around. I shop, cook, plate and clean in your kitchen, and I bring my own equipment. Evenings and weekends, groups of 2 or more, across Barrie and the surrounding area.
