I am a professional chef with over 20 years experience in mainly fine dining settings. I am originally from Savannah Georgia, and honed my skills in Atlanta, Georgia. I have since traveled and cooked/trained throughout the USA and Europe.

I now run my own popup dinners and private chef service based in the Okanagan valley in British Columbia.

I specialize in anything from a casual lunch/brunch drop off meal to a 5 course tasting menu. Beginning in 2020 I became a private chef and now work full time for an adventure lodge business in Oregon as well as Alaska. In my off time I enjoy mountain sports as well as throwing dinner parties.

From initial proposal to the last bite, working with Chef Jason for our friend's 40th birthday dinner was spectacular. A consummate professional, Chef Jason arrived on time, and executed our four-course dinner with minute-perfect precision. Warm and engaging, even while preparing a first-class meal, we were impressed with his gentle touch as a host and entertainer. He gave our group of three old friends the space to reminiscence and catch up, joining the conversation from time to time in a manner that felt effortless, but doubtless required considerable care on his part. His presence, stories, and elucidations of each dish and bottle became a real perk of the evening. The food itself was exceptional. Chef Jason crafted an exceptional menu, exactly as advertised: French technique and local PNW ingredients. The courses were spaced well, provided a nice breadth of flavors, ingredients, and textures, each dish highlighted regional purveyors and was paired with (mostly) local wines. Chef Jason's explanations elevated our enjoyment. And finally at the end of service, he left the kitchen spotless, politely declined our offer that he enjoy a well-deserved drink, and departed. All things considered, working with Chef Jason was a marvelous experience. I can't recommend his services highly enough, and would absolutely hire him again should the need arise!
