I’m Chef AC, the founder and owner of The Soul of American Cuisines™, a traveling personal chef and catering company rooted in tradition, elevated by experience, and infused with soul. Born and raised in South Carolina, I fell in love with food during long, hot summers spent in the kitchen with my grandmother. After her passing, I turned my grief into motivation and transformed my passion into purpose.

I’m a proud Clemson University graduate with a degree in Biological Sciences, but it was in the kitchen where I truly found my calling. In 2020, I launched my business to honor my roots and share the rich flavors of American soul food with a luxurious twist. At The Soul of American Cuisines™, I specialize in delivering upscale, soulful dining experiences in the comfort of your home — blending tradition, bold flavors, and fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Autumn prepared a lovely dinner for us. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, mostly the part of not preparing it for ourselves :-). The chicken was super yummy and the peach cobbler dessert was a big hit. Thanks again!

This was a fun experience and Chef AC took good care of us. The steak was extremely chewy but the way it was prepared and the seasonings were tasty. I would say for the price point I expected higher quality ingredients.

Chef AC was amazing. She cooked us not only tasty, but gorgeous food. Her presentation of each dish was beautiful! It was for my wife and my 7th anniversary and she did a wonderful job! We would highly recommend her! Her shrimp pasta was particularly delicious w the shrimp perfectly cooked! Thank you Chef AC! 5/5 stars!!

It was my 7th anniversary and i was looking to make it extra special for my wife. I was nervous because i wanted it to be perfect. Chef Autumn was amazing! I left her in the apartment alone while my wife and I went to a game. But before that, she offered suggestions on how to surprise my wife, had music playing when we arrived, and really set the mood for us. Of course the food was delicious. We had her crab cake with surf and turf, and I would of lick the plate if I could. My wife loved it, I loved it. I highly recommend Chef Autumn, she's gonna be a star in the culinary world! Thanks again Chef!
