I am the Executive Chef of D1 and Only Personal Chef Service, with over 15 years of experience in food service and hospitality. I received my culinary education from Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, California, and began my professional career in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace (Central) under the tutelage of the late Executive Chef Michel Richard.

Since leaving Las Vegas in 2012, I have worked throughout the Los Angeles area as a private chef, caterer, and culinary instructor, serving countless clients and sharing my expression of love through food.

My approach is rooted in quality ingredients, thoughtful technique, and personalized service. My goal is to create memorable dining experiences that feel both meaningful and delicious, whether for intimate gatherings, special occasions, or ongoing personal chef services.

Chef was so professional and the meal was excellent I definitely recommend chef Damon Henderson

I had a great booking experience with Damon! He created a menu based on my initial requests and was flexible enough to customize a few things after some back and forth via messaging and calls. He was even able to set up a small table with tablecloth and candles since we were dining outside after sunset. Every course was on point! To start, Damon made escargot, French onion and tomato basil soup, which were all better than most restaurants My gf and I had tried in the past. The main course of lamb sirloin was flavorful without being overwhelming and cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. The coconut pie dessert was tasty without being too sweet. Most importantly, Damon has a good personality and was a delight to have in our house. My gf and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner experience that Damon thoughtfully creates for us. We highly recommend Damon!

I had Chef Damon come to my house for my wife’s birthday. Not only is he an excellent chef but he is a wonderful person to be around and to learn from. He has plenty of experience and fine dining and I Especially loved how well he treated us while he was here. All the courses were tasty and presented beautifully. He showed up on time as well which is important to me. I already recommended him to two of my friends and plan on continuing to use them for events going forward. Thank you so much Chef Damon, easily find a chef experience my wife and I have had.

Damon Henderson Was wonderful! He was on time, very polite and provided a great presentation. We booked Damon for My boyfriends birthday since we can’t go to dinner. Damon handled the whole dinner while we stayed outside and relaxed. It was like being at a 5 star restaurant at home. He was so great! Definitely book him.

Chef Henderson was absolutely awesome!! He was so gracious to go to my parents house for Mother's Day and prepare a 4 course meal for her. He came up with an amazing menu based on my description of what my mom likes and her dietary restrictions. My mom said the food was absolutely wonderful, delicious, and beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend Chef Henderson!!

We had Chef Damian for our dinner party. It was such a pleaser having him cook us an amazing meal. He was one of the few chefs that read my requests. I was amazed by how efficient they worded and how clean they left the kitchen. Thank you again Chef!

Chef Damon is the best chef ever. He curated the absolute best menu for us and my boyfriend and I were able to enjoy such an amazing valentines day

I have to start by saying that I am a very tough critic. Chef Damon completely exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing and he was the sweetest thing ever. This was for Valentine’s Day and me and my boyfriend wanted something intimate, romantic, tasty etc and it was really just the most perfect night with the best chef. You definitely will not regret choosing him to make your next meal !

Chef Damon was professional and amazing. We hired him to cook for our parents 40th anniversary and he absolutely killed it! It will go down as the best present ever and we could not be happier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CHEF!!

Chef Damon was AAAAAAHHHMAAAZING! He worked out a menu for our anniversary dinner and I knew it it was going to be epic but Chef blew my mind. What he prepared was above and beyond what I could have imagined! He was the icing on the cake!
