Chef David Rosov

Executive Chef David Rosov is the founder and owner of Palm Beach Personal Chefs. His culinary roots run deep, beginning with his grandfather, who owned a thriving butcher shop in the 1940s, and his father, a pioneer in refrigerated food storage for cruise ships and port crews. Growing up in this environment instilled in Chef David a profound respect for premium ingredients and refined dining.

From an early age, his parents immersed him in the world of hospitality at the family’s fine dining restaurant, The Saloon, where he learned table service, bar operations, and the art of elegant entertaining. The restaurant, operated by his father until 1981 and later continued by the family, became Chef David’s first culinary classroom. During this time, the restaurant’s Executive Chef introduced him to the foundations of classical French cuisine, preparing him for formal culinary training.

In 1990, Chef David met Michelin-starred Chef Guillaume at L’Orangerie in Los Angeles, earning the rare opportunity to stage in Paris for one year. This immersive experience allowed him to refine advanced techniques under world-class mentorship, shaping his culinary philosophy and craftsmanship.

Today, Chef David applies his expertise across high-profile private dining, television, and film catering in Hollywood. His first private client was actress Victoria Principal, followed by an impressive roster including Barron Hilton, professional athletes, politicians, and notable public figures. His work has been featured in major media outlets and publications, including Los Angeles Magazine (named LA’s Best Private Chef, 1997), LA Times, Mona Liza Dockwise (France), celebrity chef cookbooks, and numerous radio interviews.

Chef David has also catered for major productions such as Will & Grace, American Idol, MadTV, Judge Judy, and high-profile commercials for Chrysler Motors and Folger’s Coffee featuring Wayne Gretzky.
