While I’ve honed skills across various cuisines and techniques, what brings me the most joy is cooking for people who appreciate a warm, family-style experience — where food isn’t just a meal, but a memory. Chef Drew was absolutely brilliant. He worked with me on a flexible date (the experience was a Christmas present, so was a bit of a surprise) and the menu. His proposed menu was rock solid from the start, and he was very flexible and accommodating. The experience itself was also fantastic. Drew was a pleasure to have cook - he was friendly and engaging, explained what he was doing at all steps, and really made it an exceptional evening for a group of 4 friends. On top of all of that, the food was outstanding - steaks done perfectly, lots of nibbles and tastings, and the end result was really just an impressive effort across the board. Will 100% be using him again for more events in the future!

Our experience with Chef Drew was phenomenal. He responded to my Take a Chef inquiry right away with a thoughtful, customized proposal and even offered to hop on a call to align on preferences for my bachelor weekend. He arrived promptly with his sous-chef and immediately got to work prepping an incredible menu with fresh, clean ingredients and top-quality equipment. The food delivered nonstop ‘WOW’ moments all night, and by the end, they both felt like part of the crew. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Ian and his sous chef Chris were incredible! The food was great, they were friendly, efficient & well prepared. It made the day so much easier knowing our team didn't have to cook & clean up. Would definitely hire them again, and suggest them to other people coming to Lake Tahoe!

Chef Ian (Drew) was wonderful to work with! He went back and forth to make sure our menu was what our large group with food allergies wanted and even tested recipes beforehand to ensure our meal was a success. He was punctual, polite, professional and personable. The meal was delicious, portions were generous and the best part of the evening was walking into our sparkling clean kitchen afterwards! Highly recommend!
